A messaging professional should be able to look at the message headers of a message (which can be viewed from Outlook) to determine where a message actually came from, the delivery path it took to reach the destination, and many other pieces of information about the message. In this session, we will discuss the required message headers and the common optional message headers. We will also discuss “trust” regarding e-mail messages and how we can determine the trust level of authenticating a message actually being from whom it says – versus a “spoofed” message that is not from where the sender would like you to believe!
