Michael Blumenthal is a SharePoint Architect and Senior Consultant with Magenic, a Microsoft Gold Partner and National Systems Integrator.  He has been working with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 since its beta versions in 2006 and its predecessor SharePoint Portal Server 2003 since it was in beta as well.  For the last year, Michael has been streamlining human-centered business processes via SharePoint workflow solutions as well as the occasional enterprise search solution.  Michael has well-rounded SharePoint expertise, with SharePoint development, infrastructure, and administration experience. He's designed, implemented, and supported SharePoint 2003 & 2007 intranets, extranets, and Internet sites for clients in markets as diverse as Banking, Energy, Government, and Transportation. Michael holds four Microsoft certifications (MCAD, MCDBA, MCSE, MCTS: MOSS Config) and the Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute.  Michael has been a Microsoft developer for the last 14 years.  He blogs about SharePoint at http://BlumenthalIT.net/, is the webmaster for the Chicago SharePoint User Group (http://cspug.org), and has contributed three SharePoint projects to CodePlex.
